Result re-marking

If you didn't get the score you expected, you can apply for an Enquiry on Results (EOR) re-mark. You can choose which parts of the test you want re-marked.

The fee for this service is EUR 160, which is refunded if your score improves on any part of the test.

You must apply for a re-mark no later than six weeks after the test date, regardless of whether you took paper-based or computer-delivered IELTS.

You can submit a results enquiry online via the Test Taker portal, or fill in the results enquiry form and send it to the exam centre where you took the test. Be sure to attach proof of payment.

Your result will be ready in 2-21 days, depending on several factors, such as the number of sections requested for review. If you haven't received a response within 28 days, contact the exam centre where you took the test.

To apply for a results review, please fill in the form and return it to us together with proof of payment of EUR 160.

Replacing school English exams with IELTS and Cambridge English certificates.

A student has the right to replace their foreign-language exam (optimal or higher level) with a test taken at an international testing organisation (IELTS or Cambridge English Language Assessment).

The score achieved on the test, as defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, must be no lower than B2 to replace the optimal-level exam, or C1 to replace the higher-level exam.

It's important that the student took the international organisation's test during their general secondary education, and that the certificate issued by that organisation, according to its stated validity period, is valid on the date of the scheduled foreign-language exam.
